Hydroflux to Showcase Latest Technology Solutions at Ozwater16

April 29, 2016
Visitors to the Hydroflux stand at Ozwater, to be held from 10-12 May in Melbourne, will able to find out more about the latest international trends and developments in wastewater technology solutions.

Among these the Huber Liquid Drum was developed as part of a research project into alternative technologies that contribute towards improved energy utilization.

This new application, now part of Hydroflux Huber’s range of drum-screen technology offerings to councils and water authorities, can be used to replace primary sedimentation.

Hydroflux will also showcase CNP Technologies AirPrex™ which is a complete solution to the struvite problem facing many wastewater treatment plants.

John Koumoukelis, a Director of the Hydroflux Group, says: “Struvite causes reduced sludge dewaterability and can impact on the capacity of a wastewater treatment plant. However, the AirPrex™ solution optimises the sludge treatment process with the end result of not only removing struvite but also significantly improving sludge dewatering efficiency.”Hydroflux’s municipal and industrial specialists will be at Stand A06 exhibiting a working model of the energy efficient AEROSTRIP Diffuser, Flootech MBBR and a model of the Organica Biomodule.

They will also be on hand to discuss energy saving and high performance technology relating to inlet works, aeration and sludge management systems within sewage treatment plants (HUBER Technology and AEROSTRIP) as well as management of trade waste discharge, treatment and recycling within industrial plants.
