Located in the Fijian Mamanuca group of Islands, the remote Malolo Lailai is home to Musket Cove Island Resort.
Owned and operated by Fiji’s oldest resort company, the multi award winning island resort has commissioned Hydroflux Industrial to provide an advanced wastewater treatment plant to further enhance protection of the local environment.
The advanced wastewater plant, comprised of 3 containerised membrane biological reactors (MBR) will treat the wastewater generated by guests, the laundry and kitchens to a standard suitable for reuse in irrigation, thus ensuring the environmental sustainability of the resort into the future. The system provides modular flexibility and importantly redundancy, both key requirements for the customer due to the remote location.
“We are proud to be involved in and honoured that Musket Cove Island Resort has entrusted Hydroflux with this environmentally important project” said Mathew Pugh, a Director of Hydroflux.
